Hunter Impala Racing Cruiser 1982
Despite being developed in 1972, this David Thomas design is still fiercely competitive in races. Looking and feeling like a big Sonata and (often) without an inboard engine as standard, the accommodation is on the basic side for cruising. But with 4 berths, plenty of space and a separate heads and hanging locker amidships, there is no reason why a family should not make comfortable and fast passages. One hundred and fifty five were built in six years. (YM report November 1978)
